DAY: 01 ISLAMABAD
Arrival Islamabad and transfer to Hotel.
DAY: 02 TWIN CITY TOUR
After break fast visit to twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, are situated at the edge of Pothar Plateau. Rawalpindi was originally known as Fatehpur Boari. It was destroyed during 14th century by Mughal invasion and remained deserted for a number of years. 350 years ago, during the regime of Emperor Jehangir a Sikh Saint by the name of Rawal Jogi came to the deserted Fatehpur Boari and was instrumental in recreating the glory of the city. In appreciation, the town became known as Rawalpindi. Today Raja Bazaar, Sadder and Murree Road are the main shopping centers.
ISLAMABAD: On the other hand is a city that is barely a quarter century old. Two old villages Saidpur and Nurpur existed here prior to the sudden sprouting of buildings. This gleaming new capital of Pakistan is a superb example of modern architecture with wide tree- lined streets. It is carefully designed city with large houses, elegant public buildings and most modern Markets.
After lunch proceed for a sightseeing excursion of Islamabad. This includes vistas to Faisal Mosque, the Islamic Kingdome of Saudi Arabia's gift and real representation of friendship of two Muslim countries, the worlds largest Mosque and a pure monument of modern Islamic architecture. Daman-e-Koh a senic hill views point presenting the birds eye view of Islamabad. Folk Museum the only museum of its kind in Pakistan presenting the preserved folk heritage of Pakistan. Super and Jinnah Super Markets are the main centers of Western fashion wear and consumer products. Over night Hotel.

DAY: 03 RAWALPINDI TO SWAT
After breakfast proceed by coach to Swat via Taxila, situated 35 miles from Rawalpindi. Taxila once the seat of oriental culture. It was first mentioned as a satrap of Achaemeenian Empire in 6th century BC. It was invaded by the Macedonian Alexander and passing along to other rulers until finally reaching the hands of Ashoka the Great, who molded the city in to a center of Philosophy, Art and Education. The creative Gandhara period followed shortly thereafter and Taxila remained a prosperous city. It came to a disastrous end when sacked by white Huns. Today Taxila is an archeologist’s paradise here is a well-maintained museum and eight sites. Among best-preserved are Sirkap, Julian, Mohair Maradu and Bhirmond. After sightseeing of Taxila continue to Swat a land that shines with fruit laden orchards, flowers filled slopes, meandering rivers tumbling streams and is surrounded by the mighty ranges of the Hindu Kush and Karakoram. The valley is 3250 feet above sea level and Saidu Sharif and Mingora are the towns that from the last town accessible by road.
It is at a height of 6800 feet and is surrounded on all sides by the snow-covered peaks of the Hindu Kush. Visit the Butkara excavated site, Swat Museum housing rich collection of the ancient relics, Marghazar a beautiful summer palace of the Ex-ruler of Swat located in a well wooded scenic site and Mingora Bazaar with lively subtle of the upright fierce yet very hospitable Pathans. Meals and over night at Hotel.
DAY: 04 SWAT TO PESHAWAR
Early in the morning departure for Peshawar enroute stop at Takhat-I-Bahi and Gandhara age Buddhist Temple and Pagoda founded in the 1st century AD and abandoned the 6th of 7th century. After lunch, you will be taken for a city tour of this exotic city. The first place we visit is the centuries old Qisa Khoni Bazaar (storyteller Bazaar) which still retained its old flavor. As you walk through the Bazaar, you can watch Brass and copper smiths sitting cross-legged in their stalls working away as they did centuries ago. Visit Jewelers bazaar where you can witness the intricate art of Jewelry making. Here you can find antique silver pieces from Afghanistan and frontier area. Our next stop will be the Peshawar Museum, which houses a treasure of ancient relics. Meals and overnight Hotel.
DAY: 05 VISIT TO TORKHAM
Visit Afghan border at Torkham is 56 Kms from Peshawar about and 2 to 3 hours drive and back Peshawar. Meals and overnight at Hotel.
DAY: 06 PESHAWAR TO LAHORE
Transfer to Peshawar airport to embark for Lahore. Arrival at Lahore and transfer to Hotel. Lahore the capital of Punjab, is one of the great Mughal cities of the range of superb Muslim architecture. It is Pakistan’s cultural and intellectual center. The faded elegance, busy streets and bazaars, and wide variety Islamic and British architecture make this a city of atmosphere surprises and contrasts. After Lunch, proceed for a sightseeing excursion of Lahore. Visit the Lahore Fort a marvel of Mughal architecture begun in the 11th century and completed in the end of 16th century. Among the emperors who contributed to its splendors are Akbar, Jehangir and Shah Jehan. The Badshai Mosque the second biggest in the world made of red stone by Aurangzeb. Hazuri Bagh a grand marble pavilion constructed by Raja Ranjit sing in 1818, and Minar-e- Pakistan a towering Pakistan Day Memorial. Over night Hotel.
DAY: 07 SEE LAHORE
Visit to Shalimar Garden designed by Ali Mardan Shah of Persia and built in Persian style, this unusual garden also called the garden of heaven was built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1642, this three terraced garden is perfectly adorned with beautiful 400 fountains, marble pavilions and geometrically designed ponds all in excellent condition. Visit to Lahore Museum built by the Britishers in Mughal Gothic style. It is Pakistan’s best Museum with a rich collection of Buddhist stone sculpture from Gandhara period, a fine Islamic collection of illustrated manuscripts, rugs and carving, a good ethnographic display and a gallery on an excellent prehistoric display.
Visit to Annar Kali bazaar, one of the most legendary bazaars being built by Prince Saleem for the memorial of her beloved Annar Kali. Transfer to Hotel Over night hotel.
DAY: 08 LAHORE TO KARACHI
With a population of 09 million, Karachi is the largest city in Pakistan, the most commercial and industrial of the country with international air and sea port. Its unusual mixture of imaginative skyscrapers and solid 19th century Victorian Gothic buildings. It was not until after Partition in 1947 and the influx of millions of Muslim refugees from India, that the population grew dramatically. Karachi then became the first capital of the new Pakistan until Islamabad replaced in 1963. Visit to white marble Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam (the founder of Pakistan): Bustling Bohri Bazaar-crowded with yelling hawkers. Transfer to Hotel overnight Hotel.
DAY: 10 SEE KARACHI
Visit to National Museum-housing a rich collection of Gandhara at Zaibunnissa Street - a cosmopolitan shopping center. Visit to the Defense Society Mosque- marvel of modern engineering housing the biggest dome of the world: Dohobi Ghat- the largest outdoor laundry of the world spread over kilometers with colorful display of millions of clothes spread out for drying: Clifton Beach - presenting an awe inspiring aquarium, Playgrounds, Camel rids, Crabbing, Vendors selling sea shell jewelry and decoration pieces. Over night Hotel.
DAY: 11 KARACHI TO MOENJODARO
Transfer to Karachi airport to embark for Moenjodaro: The Mound of Dead, is the site of most out standing of the cities of the Indus civilization, which flourished 4,000 years ago. The Indus Civilization was contemporary with that of Egypt and Mesopotamia. We will visit the dominating 1700 years old Bhuddist Stupa on the raised citadel. Below see the great bath, the site granary and the palace. As you walk through the neat maze of alley ways in the residential area, you get some idea of how well ordered the planning of this city was, even the extent of having a standardized brick size. You can thread your way through these narrow through fares, shaded and cool, and imagine the busy activity that must have taken place in the old market area where jewelers, peters and millers worked. There is evidence of a well-planned drainage system, again indicating the high level of civilization that Moenjodaro had controlled by strong centralized government. We will also visit the museum. DAY: 12 KARACHI TO ONWARDS
Transfer to Karachi airport to embark for country.
