DAY 01 RAWALPINDI - SHOGRAN Early morning departure from Rawalpindi by jeep towards Balakot and than group will move towards Shogran through Balakot, one of the most beautiful regions of the Valley. At 2400 meters (7500 feet) above sea level Shogran stand well above the valley, and is the most beautiful place to spend the night. From Shogran you can see the magnificent views up the valley to Musa – ka – Musalla, Makra and Malika Parbat (5290 m) The naturally well designed pine trees and its greenery enhances beauty of the valley. Overnight in Shogran. DAY 02 SHOGRAN - NARAN We drive through Kaghan Valley and reach Naran, the main mountain village, which lies at the heart of the mountains. This 155 Km long valley is called the Switzerland of the East. Naran is at 2427meters (7963 feet) above see level and 82 kilometers from Balakot. Naran is the centre of tourism for the Kaghan Valley. DAY 03 NARAN TO SAIF-UL-MULUK - NARAN. Today we will spend the whole day for the excursion of Lake Saif-ul-Muluk. It is ten kilometers to the east, up a picturesque side valley at an altitude of 3212 meters (10537 feet) above see level. The lake is above the tree line. Lake Saif-ul-Muluk is also the base camp of Malika Parbat and on a clear day of Malika Parbat is mirrored in its deep blue waters. After sight seeing return to Naran for overnight. DAY 04 NARAN - BALAKOT On return from Naran, Balakot will be our station for overnight stay. Balakot was famous about the Muslim leader Ahmed Shah Brewli, he was killed here in 1831 by the Sikhs. His tomb is the green tiled monument near the Kunhar River. DAY 05 BALAKOT - RAWALPINDI
