DAY 01: ISLAMABAD

DAY 02: RAWALPINDI TO SHOGRAN VIA TAXILA.

Early morning departure from Rawalpindi by coach towards Shogran. We have a short break at Taxila, the most ancient renowned Gandhara art center which dates back from 5th century B.C. to 455 AD We will visit to Julian university and Taxila Museum which represents the real Bhudasim art and culture. Lunch will be provided at Abottabad and than group will move towards Shogran through Balakot, one of the most beautiful regions of the Valley. The naturally well designed pine trees and its greenery enhances beauty of the valley. We will install our camp in the high green meadows and over night camping.

DAY 03: SHOGRAN TO NARAN/ LAKE SAIF-UL-MULUK.
We drive through Kaghan Valley and reach Naran, the main mountain village, which lies at the heart of the mountains. This 155 Kms long valley is called the Switzerland of the East. We drive another 5 miles up to the legendary lake of Serif UL Mukluk 3,200 Mts. high, which shimmers under the guardianship of “Malika Parbat” the queen of Mountains 5292 meters high. Camp will be arranged near the bank of legendary lake. Over night camping.

DAY 04: SAIF UL MUKLUK TO BABUSAR.

W will move early morning towards Babusar, the farthest hamlet of the Kaghan valley. The Babusar Top offers excellent birds eye view of the Kaghan valley on one side and the other side one can enjoy the rough rocks of Chilas region. We drive quiet steep up the pass and than abruptly steep down, ultimately we will reach the village of Babusar, which is surrounded by pine trees. Over night camping.

DAY 05: BABUSAR TO CHILAS

After break fast our group will move towards Chilas which lies on the famous “ Karakoram High Way. Karakoram highway is known as eighth wonder of the world. You will be taken to the ancient Buddhist Rock Carvings at Chilas. Over night at Chilas hotel.

DAY 06: CHILAS TO ASTOR RAMA.

We start our journey through KKH but very soon we leave the KKH and take turn right onto a jeep trek, which lead to Astor Valley. Today the roughest road will take us to beautiful Valley Astor and terminate in the green and luxuriant pine forested valley of Rama. Rama nestles beneath the magnificence of Nanga Parbat and warmly offers the beauty of region for beauty seekers. Today we will enjoy dinner around a blazing campfire accompanied by the ghostly music of the trees as they rustle in the soft cool winds.

DAY 07: SEE RAMA
Today we will walk towards the Rama Lake, which is a dream of every beauty seeker. Rama Lake will give you the ample and excellent views of Nanga Parbat. We will walk through pine trees to approach Lake on can have trout fishing here. The whole day we will spend over this beautiful lake and over night camping.

DAY 08: RAMA LAKE TO GILGIT.

We start our journey towards Gilgit through Astor road, after arrival transfer to hotel. After lunch group will be taken to city tour, first of all we will visit to Khomer Buhdda and Kargha Nala, than we proceed to bazaar. Gilgit is the main city of Northern Area and people comes from all over the valleys to get their purchasing. Over night Hotel.

DAY 09: GILGIT TO NALTAR

Morning departure for the very lovely mountain resort of Naltar perched at a height of 3048 Mts. with surrounding peaks and their eternal snows as a backdrop. After lunch trek to Naltar Lake pocketed among pine forests. Over night camping.

DAY 10: NALTAR TO KARIMABAD

After break fast we leave for the valley of Hunza, travelling down the Naltar valley we join the Karakoram Highway and drive towards Karimabad the capital of Hunza. The road journey of KKH offers excellent views of glittering snowy summits and craggy mountains. From Karimabad we will be able to have the views of Rakaposhi Peak 7788 Mts. high. We will visit the 600 years old fort and the quaint village of Karimabad. Over night hotel.

DAY 11: KARIMABAD TO KHUNJERAB PASS

After breakfast we leave for the incredibly beautiful upper Hunza. Driving up the Karakoram Highway we get excellent views of snowy mountains and peaks as we pass under their shadows. Enroute we can have marvelous close range views of Gulkin Glacier and Batura Glacier which is 59 Kms long and one of the longest in the world. As we climb up the landscape changes to rugged snowy mountains till we reach the Chinese Border at Khunjerab Pass 4703 Mts. high. We spend out night at Gulmit village. Over night hotel.

DAY 12: GULMIT TO BURAT LAKE GULMIT

Today we have trek here through glaciers and mountains, we pass two of the small hamlets of Gulmit and Gulkin we cross over the Gulkin glacier till we reach the salt water Lake. The lake site was the duck hunting ground for the Mire of Hunza and do lofty peaks with excellent panoramic views surround a point. Spend the day at the lake exploring and return by jeep to your campsite at Gulmit.

DAY 13: GULMIT TO HOPER GLACIER

We proceed by jeep which leads to the Hoper Glacier passing through the state of Nagar. The drive will be a picturesque one in a very real sense, as you will see views of the Hispar Glacier 59 Kms long, with regal peaks in the distance. Arrive at Hoper village that lies next to the Hoper glacier. Hoper village offers commanding views of Hunza valley peaks on one side and the Hispar Hamlets clinging to the valley walls. Over night camping.

DAY 14: HOPER GLACIER TO GILGIT.

Back via same route to Gilgit and an overnight hotel.

DAY 15: GILGIT TO BESHAM

Back via same route to Besham and over night hotel.

DAY 16: BESHAM TO RAWALPINDI

We start our journey towards Rawalpindi through KKH.

DAY 17: RAWALPINDI REST DAY.


DAY 18: ONWARDS.
